Modi government gave coal worth one lakh crore to Adani for free - Sanjay Singh
New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, in a press conference, accused the Prime Minister and the Central Government of giving coal worth one lakh crore free of cost to industrialist Gautam Adani.
RS MP Singh accused Gautam Adani of scam and said that this scam happened under the patronage of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He said, "Coal blocks were allotted to benefit private companies. There was a scam of lakhs of crores, then the Supreme Court rejected the allocation of many coal mines. The Supreme Court then said that the coal mines allotment has been done against the norms and to benefit private players."
