New Delhi: In the case of alleged gang rape and torture of a Dalit girl in the Hathras case of Uttar Pradesh, the CBI accused the four accused of gangrape and murder. The CBI, which is investigating the case, on Friday filed a charge sheet in front of a court in Hathras. Counsel for the accused Munna Singh Pundir said that the CBI has accused the four accused Sandeep, Lavkush, Ravi and Ramu of rape and murder.
The lawyer said that CBI has also made allegations against the accused under SC / ST Act. On September 14, the 20-year-old victim, who was allegedly gang-raped and tortured in a village in Hathras, died in a hospital in Delhi. On 30 September, in the presence of heavy police force, he was cremated late at night in Hathras. It was being said that the police had cremated the deceased without the permission of the family. However, officials said the last rites were performed "as per the wishes of the family". In October, the Supreme Court said that Allahabad High Court will supervise the investigation being done by the Central Investigation Agency CBI.

The main accused in the Hathras case, Sandeep Thakur, had written a letter to the Uttar Pradesh police claiming that he and the other three accused were being implicated in the case. On the contrary, he accused the victim's mother and brother of torturing him. He had demanded 'justice for the accused' in the letter.
