Another setback after BJP's Bengal defeat, BJP leader Babul Supriyo left the party

Babul Supriyo, former Union Minister and BJP's big leader in Bengal has left the party and said goodbye to politics. He has written a post on social media saying that he came to politics only for social service. Now he has decided to change his path.

Babul Supriyo left BJP and said goodbye to politics

He has said that there is no need to be in politics to serve the people. They can fulfill that purpose even after separating from politics. It has also been emphasized from his side that he has always been and will be a part of the BJP. They say that 'they' will understand this decision of theirs.

For the past few days, many questions were being raised on Babul Supriyo's silence and his diminishing role in BJP. There was speculation that Babylon might take some big decision. Now through his social media posts, Babul has talked in detail on all those controversies. He has said that I had some differences with the party. Those things had come in front of everyone even before the election. I also take responsibility for the defeat, but other leaders are also responsible.

already wanted to leave the party

Babul Supriyo has also mentioned that he wanted to leave the party for a long time. He had already made up his mind that he no longer wants to stay in politics. But due to the stopping of BJP President JP Nadda, he withdrew his decision every time. But now because differences had started with some of his leaders and all the controversies were also coming in front of the public, he decided to leave politics.

No place in the cabinet

By the way, Babul Supriyo was not given a place in the cabinet expansion of the Modi government recently. He had to resign from his post. He has also written about this on social media posts but has refrained from writing anything explicitly.

 Opinion on BJP in Bengal

On the increasing power of BJP in Bengal, Babul has said that now the party has many leaders. There are youths and veterans who are also standing together, so even if someone leaves the party now, it will not make much difference. According to him, when he decided to join the Bharatiya Janata Party in Bengal, the BJP's position here was not quite right. He alone was a big face. But now since 2019, BJP has emerged as the main opposition party in this state.

Babul has said in an emotional way at the end of his post that what I did while running away to Mumbai from Standard Chartered Bank's job in 1992, now I have done there again.

Political speculation over the verdict

Now Babul has definitely announced his retirement from politics on social media, but TMC has called it a drama. TMC spokesperson Kunal Ghosh says that if Babul wants to retire from politics, then first of all he should resign from the post of MP. It is not hidden from anyone that after the resignation of the minister, the BJP did not give any sentiment to Babul.

In Bengal, BJP President Dilip Ghosh has tried to avoid this question. He has said that he is not aware of this. Babul has not resigned from the post of MP. At the same time, who has to stay in politics and who has to go, it is a personal decision.
