AAP MLA and PA caught taking bribe in Punjab, both in vigilance custody
Vigilance has caught Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Amit Ratan Kotfatta from Bathinda, Punjab, taking a bribe of Rs 4 lakh. Kotfatta had reached the circuit house of Bathinda. PA Resham Singh of the MLA had taken this bribe in lieu of passing the panchayat bill from the husband of the woman sarpanch of village Gudda.
The vigilance team trapped both of them and took them into custody. The money has been recovered from the MLA's car.

According to the initial information, the money and grant of the panchayat of Seema Rani, Sarpanch of village Ghudda, was stuck. Regarding which the PA of the MLA, Resham Singh had demanded a bribe of 4 lacks from him.
