AG refuses to give consent to run contempt case against Bollywood actress Swara Bhaskar
New Delhi: Attorney General KK Venugopal has refused consent to plea for criminal contempt of court against actress Swara Bhaskar for comment in a panel discussion held in February.
AG Venugopal in his letter to the petitioner stated that the tweet appeared to be "factual" citing the Supreme Court verdict and "not an attack on the institution".
