NIFT students are also worried about the fees being expensive- Ravish Kumar

Senior journalist Mr. Ravish Kumar writes in his blog that expensive education is not a formless subject. What is going to happen in the coming times when it is affecting students so much?

Recently we wrote a post on this and posted a copy of ten emails from the students. nothing happen. NIFT students are intelligent. He is aware that there is no place for such news in the media. There is no need to convict coverage of Ayodhya or Rafal. Even if both these incidents were not there, the media does not cover it.

Even if it is covered, nothing happens. Students also do not see such issues themselves. They will know what kind of coverage people will see in their family. Change in the media is difficult for the next fifty years. It is over Media is the box of sweets in which there will be no sweets, yet the box will continue to sell. I am writing but students should know that education is a policy battle. This fight reaches that question, what is the responsibility of the state regarding education.

Students of many institutes and their parents will be upset due to the expensive fees, but I do not think that they will be reading the new education policy that there will be no more cost. NIFT students should be given a fee. Now there is no meaning of performance. It is a good thing. This is the best thing to do without the media. But in the end they will have to pay a fee. Arrange fees Sorry but this is true.

NIFT students letter: congratulations to them on failure

Subject: NIFT Fee Hike for Academic Year 2020-21

Greetings!

Hope this email finds you well.
The students at the National Institute of Fashion Technology would be immensely grateful if you could run our story.
We have been protesting our 10% fee hike as a collective student body across all 16 centers. We are expected to pay 2.4 lakhs (Non-NRI) and 9 lakhs (NRI) for online classes without availing any of the infrastructure we are paying for.

Our repeated attempts to get a response from concerned authorities have been futile. A blind eye has been turned on the countless emails the students as well as their parents have sent to the administration.

To further our cause, we are staging a nationwide boycott of classes across all campuses as a means of a silent protest. We shall continue to do so till our fee circular for 2020-21 is restructured in accordance to the current economic crisis.

We would be ever grateful if you could help us in our cause.
Regards.
