Corona virus cases in UP cross three lakh, more than four thousand deaths


Lucknow: UP Coronavirus Update: With 6,846 new cases of Kovid-19 (Covid-19) in Uttar Pradesh, the number of patients exposed to this epidemic in the state on Saturday has crossed three lakhs. With this, after the death of 68 more patients, the number of people who lost their lives due to coronavirus infection has increased to 4,349. Additional Chief Secretary (Health) Amit Mohan Prasad said that the number of patients undergoing treatment in the state at present is 67,955 while 2,33,527 patients have been cured. So far, 3,05,831 people have been infected with the coronavirus in the state.




According to the Bulletin issued by the Health Department, in the last 24 hours, the maximum number of new cases has been 1,117 in Lucknow, 523 in Kanpur Nagar, 328 in Prayagraj, and 303 in Ghaziabad. According to the bulletin, 10 more patients died in Lucknow, nine in Kanpur city, six in Prayagraj and five patients died in Meerut.

Prasad told us that the work of the Covid-19 investigation is being done in the state at a rapid pace. In the last twenty-four hours, 1,40,562 samples have been tested. A total of 73,58,471 samples have been tested so far in the state. He said that out of the total infected people till now, 13.98 percent of people aged 0-20 years, 48.58 percent of people up to 21-40 years, 28.69 percent of people up to 41-60 years, and 8.75 percent of people above 60 years of age are included.

Prasad said that 69 percent of the total infected people are men and 31 percent are women. There are 6,846 new cases in the state in the last 24 hours. He said that at present there are 36,334 people in the home-separate habitat. So far 1,49,396 people have lived in home-isolated habitat. So far, 11,40,14,407 people from 2,28,74,346 households have been surveyed through 3,43,519 teams in 1,00,410 areas in the state.

Prasad said that 1,739 people have taken medical advice in one day yesterday through 'e-Sanjeevani'. So far, a total of 72,148 people have received medical counseling through 'e-Sanjeevani'.
