Uddhav Thackeray calls me 'Namak Haram': Kangana Ranaut hit back

M
umbai: A sharp clash between Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and Kangana Ranaut has taken a new turn. The actress today targeted the chief minister in a series of tweets. On Sunday, Uddhav Thackeray attacked "those who misused Mumbai by calling Pakistan Occupied Kashmir" without naming Kangana Ranaut. Thackeray said, "People who have no livelihood in their home come to Mumbai and are unfaithful to it. Saying to the Mumbai POK is really a failure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He (PM) said that he was a P.O.K. Will bring it back to India. " Those who hate Maharashtra left no stone unturned in bringing the state into disrepute.

In response, Kangana Ranaut called the Chief Minister a "worse product" of nepotism. He wrote, "Sanjay Raut called me a haremkhor, now Uddhav Thackeray called me a namakharam (treacherous), he is claiming that if Mumbai had not given me shelter, I would not have got food in my state, you Shame, I am your son's age. You talk to a woman who has achieved her own position in this way, Chief Minister ... You are the worst product of nepotism."

Kangana further wrote "Chief Minister I am not drunk like my father's power and wealth like you, I could live in Himachal if I wanted to be the product of sibling nepotism. I am from a famous family, I am their wealth and Did not want to stay away from the favors, some people have self-respect and self-respect."

Kangana Ranaut addressed him as "Tu" in a video on the Chief Minister last month. The 33-year-old outspoken actress accused Thackeray's Shiv Sena, which heads the Maharashtra government and controls the Mumbai civic body, of targeting the Sushant Singh Rajput case in a war of words. She was criticized by the Mumbai police for handling the case and said that she does not feel safe in the city.

The Shiv Sena became furious when Kangana compared Mumbai to Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK). When a demolition team of the Mumbai civic body started demolishing illegal parts of Kangana Ranaut's office in Mumbai, they accused the Shiv Sena of retaliation.

Kangana Ranaut's meeting with State Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari, who was a critic of Thackeray, shocked the Chief Minister even more.
